Knowing how to address health issues can be overwhelming. We are bombarded with information about diet and nutrition by companies prioritizing profit.
My holistic coaching process will address and resolve your health concerns. I will guide you on a path designed for your unique situation.
I am a board certified nurse coach (NC-BC), with over 25 years of diverse nursing experience. My medical background leverages my knowledge and interest in natural healing.
I grew up in Southern California in the 60s and 70s. My mother was a health nut before it was popular. She could fix many health issues with nutrition.
My younger brother experienced attention span and behavioral problems at school; my mom took him to a nutritionist for treatment. We learned the importance of understanding the ingredients in processed foods and changed our grocery shopping decisions. With careful dietary changes his behavioral issues resolve quickly. His teachers were amazed!
Twenty years ago my daughter developed skin rashes, caused by sunscreen. This experience started my “deep dive” into exploring the toxic ingredients in our personal care and cleaning products and all the health conditions they are linked to.
In 2008 my sister (age 41) died in her sleep. Cause of death was determined to be unexpected interactions from prescription and over-the-counter medications. My family was devastated. From this I discovered: Medications have side effects, sometimes life threatening, and interactions are often unknown.
In my 25 years of nursing, I have cared for thousands of patients suffering from illnesses that were preventable. I was frustrated that I couldn’t make a lasting difference with those in my care. Becoming a health coach was my solution. As a health coach I can make a real difference. Helping my clients identify nutritional deficiencies and toxins, enabling them to take control of their health.
My passion is helping others by applying my holistic treatment knowledge and healthcare experience to improve the quality of life.
My nursing experience includes 18 years in hospitals, primarily ER and urgent care. I have also worked in neonatal ICU, labor and delivery units. I was the nurse supervisor of an ‘in-patient’ rapid drug detox program, and I worked in adult ICU.
Outside of the hospital, I enjoyed being a school nurse. I also have eight years experience as the lead nurse in an occupational medical environment.
